Between March and May, four online workshops and other supporting online engagements are organised to develop four scenario narratives to describe alternative futures of the retail ecosystem in the EU by 2040, especially on the varying degrees to which operators in the retail ecosystem achieve the twin transition, towards becoming green and digital. The scenario work entails three phases:

1. Factors of change
   • Pre-workshop survey on factors of change
   • 1st Workshop on factors of change: March 9 
     • Presentation of project results: Delphi results and factors of change (future sheets) 
2. Future scenarios 
   • 2^nd Workshop on initial scenarios: March 10
   • Online questionnaire on mini-scenarios
3.  Scenario narratives
   • 3^rd Workshop: March 30 Wed 13:30-15:30 CET
     • Presentation of preliminary results of the stakeholder survey
   • 4^th Workshop on narratives: May 11 Wed 13:30-15:30 CET
